Digital Transformation Newsletter
digital innovation served weekly
Hello everyone, MovEd supporters within the tech community!
If you are on this list, it means you are really really passionate about digital transformation & innovation, you want this world to be a better place and you are involved in deep ties with the community, understanding the problem and interested in getting it solved. This is a newsletter that is centered around the digital transformation, regular updates regarding our progress and our work — how do we make this happen? What am I even talking about when I mention digital transformation?
Digital transformation is the process of using digital technologies to create new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements. This reimagining of business in the digital age is digital transformation.
At its core, digital transformation isn't just about technology but about how organizations reinvent themselves in the digital era. It involves a fundamental change in how businesses operate and deliver value to customers.
To raise awareness about digital transformation and innovation, I believe it would be interesting to create a newsletter that provides important announcements and milestones. This will allow us, as a community, to track our progress and measure the number of members and supporters we can attract.
Fundamental change starts with YOU and starts with the community. I want to gather the community of people who think alike to drive this simple idea and transform it in reality.
Why Edmonton and digital transformation?
MovEd itself consists of two words that I glued together - Move & Edmonton. Originating in Edmonton, this movement is dedicated to the digital transformation, innovation, and digitalization of both the public and private sectors.
The idea appeared when I tried to take a bus to one of the first networking events that I had here, which was Edmonton Tech Wednesdays, having no cash and no Arc card (not knowing well about it existing, being a complete newcomer to Edmonton), I failed to do so. I could not use my credit card or my phone to pay for the transit, which appeared to me as a cultural shock.
As I delved into my research on Canada, I noticed an increasing number of outdated tools. This motivated me to develop efficient tools that could benefit both myself and others.
How can I help?
Make sure to share this movement, tell your friends, family & children - we are revolutionizing how technology works!
